The 2026 Summer Internship Program Orientation was held on the morning of June 23 at Room 628, College of Life Science, National Taiwan University.

The program began with a laboratory safety training session, during which participants completed biosafety education using laboratory safety instructional videos authorized by Taiwan’s Centers for Disease Control and developed by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The training covered essential topics including laboratory biosafety, good microbiological practices, personal protective equipment, and emergency response procedures.

Following the training, participating faculty mentors and laboratory members met with the students, providing an opportunity to become acquainted with their research groups and laboratory environments. The orientation officially marked the beginning of the two-month Summer Internship Program.
